BLCKHS Amsterdam is a creative platform where music, culture, art, and community come together to create meaningful experiences and lasting connections.
Founded by DJ Natarcia, BLCKHS Amsterdam celebrates the power of music to unite people across cultures, generations, and identities. Inspired by nearly four decades of involvement in international house music and nightlife culture, the platform combines artistic expression, cultural storytelling, community engagement, and immersive event experiences.

Our mission
Since 1989, DJ Natarcia has been a passionate advocate for music, culture, diversity, and community.
Over the years, she has built an international reputation as a DJ, curator, creative producer, and community builder, performing at clubs, festivals, Pride celebrations, cultural institutions, and special events throughout Europe, North America, Africa, and the Caribbean.
Her journey has taken her from legendary nightlife venues to major festivals and cultural projects, always driven by a desire to bring people together through music and shared experiences.
Throughout her career, she has collaborated with iconic venues and events including Havana Amsterdam, Roxy, iT, Gay Palace, Pink Planet, Club Church, Betty Ford Clinic, Milkshake Festival, Summerlove Festival, Wooferland Festival, Roskilde Festival, Women Now Rwanda, and numerous international Pride celebrations.
These experiences have shaped her unique creative vision and inspired the development of BLCKHS Amsterdam.
WORLDPRIDE AMSTERDAM 2026
One of the most exciting chapters in the BLCKHS Amsterdam journey is its participation in WorldPride Amsterdam 2026.
The BLCKHS Amsterdam Pride Boat is a tribute to almost four decades of house music, club culture, LGBTQ+ visibility, artistic expression, and community building.
Featuring music, performers, tropical futurism design elements, Strelitzia flowers, disco aesthetics, and the unmistakable BLCKHS Sound, the project transforms Amsterdam’s canals into a floating celebration of freedom, diversity, and connection.
